Women’s Health
Our general practitioners (GPs) help women at every stage of life, including contraception, cervical screening, sexual problems, pregnancy, ovarian cysts, menopause and menstrual problems.
Mental Health
Speak to your GP if you are struggling to cope, feeling low or anxious. They can assess your condition and may provide therapy and treatment through a care plan. Our GP’s also support people with dependence or addiction problems.
Chronic Disease Management &
GP Management Plans
Comprehensive, long-term care plans can be made for you to manage your chronic disease. Our GPs will manage and coordinate the ongoing care you receive from all your healthcare providers.
Asthma
Our GP’s are able to develop an asthma plan should be reviewed twice yearly. Our GPs and nurses can show you the correct techniques for using a puffer and spacer. Spirometry testing is also available onsite.
Skin Checks
Our GPs use a dermatoscope, as recommended by the Australian Cancer Network, to pick up malignant melanoma and other skin cancers. We have facilities for biopsy and excision of worrying lesions, which may require rescheduling a further appointment.
Annual Flu Vaccinations
Influenza vaccination is a safe and effective way to protect you from serious diseases caused by influenza. You can also help protect other people, especially those who are too sick or too young to be vaccinated. The more people who are vaccinated in your community the less likely the disease will spread.
Childhood Immunisations
Immunisation protects children against a range of preventable and life-threatening diseases and infections. Routine immunisations for children under four include- chickenpox, hepatitis B, measles, meningococcal, mumps, polio, pneumococcal, rubella, tetanus and whooping cough.
Diabetes Management
As there is currently no cure for diabetes, the condition requires lifelong management. Every three months you require a diabetes review with your GP, blood test, weight, waist circumference, BMI and blood pressure check. Speak to your doctor if you have any concerns.
Heart Checks
Heart disease can be prevented. Our GPs can assess your risk of heart disease and stroke with a physical check and blood tests. They may recommend further tests such as an ECG, which can be done at the clinic.
75+ Health Assessment
Health assessments are a way to inform your GP of risks and hazards, which may require further health management. It is used to identify a range of factors that influence a person’s physical, psychological and social function.
